Big Lake Robotics | Meet The Team

The Big Lake Robotics Team encompasses more than just the building of the robot, but also everything that goes with running a functioning organization. The members of the team do everything from finding sponsors, writing our newsletters, making this website, and of course the designing and building of the robot. All of our members work together to make our team function.

Impact

Impact team handles the most prestigious award given by FIRST, the FIRST Impact award, capable of giving you an instant ticket to Worlds, if won. Impact team also handles our teams outreach in the community.

Marketing

The Marketing subdivision is in charge of making sure our brand is known. They do this in a variety of ways including posting on social media, designing and creating merch, purchasing unique merchandise items iconic to our team, and much more!

Safety

There are many things that could go wrong while working in the shop, so we have a subdivision to make sure that the chances of mishaps happening are as low as possible.

Build

The Build Subdivision is typically the first thing that you think of when someone says Robotics. These are the people working in the shop, designing the robot, and solving problems.

Programming

Programming Subdivision is tasked with programming the robot and programming any other random things. It's more than you think though, the programming subdivision has to program the robot to read reflective tape.

Electrical

If you think of the robot as a living organism, those on the Electrical Subdivision are the ones that connect it's nerves together to make it functional.

Our logistics Subdivision handles things from finance to scheduling. They are also in charge of making sure everything on the team runs smoothly.
